The Rock Garden in Yarkon Park, Tel Aviv, is a fascinating spot for a family outing with kids. Here, you’re free to touch all the exhibits, and each stone has an explanatory plaque, making the walk not only fun but also educational.
Quiet corners for rest: The park has cozy spots, like a hill with warm stone steps overlooking a pond. It’s the perfect place to pause, relax, and enjoy the tranquility.
Local wildlife: Jackals inhabit the park. They usually avoid visitors and keep their distance, though they sometimes look for food in trash bins. During the day, they behave calmly and rarely appear.
Useful info: Entrance to the park is free, and it remains open even on Saturdays. However, it closes at sunset. If arriving by car, parking in front of the park costs 24 shekels for the whole day. From Netanya Central Station, you can also take buses №601, 605, or 650 (about 40 minutes), and then walk 15 minutes to reach the Rock Garden.
Visitor tip: There are no cafés or shops inside the park, so bring food and water for a picnic!
