In April 2024, Tel Aviv hosted the grand “Flowers 2024” exhibition, an eight-day event held at Expo Tel Aviv that became the largest of its kind in Israel. More than two million flowers were specially brought from around the world and arranged into breathtaking installations.
The first hall of the exhibition was dedicated to wild nature: visitors could hear the sounds of animals and see holograms of zebras and snakes among the flowers, creating the atmosphere of a tropical rainforest. The second space was designed in a palatial style, with floral installations in the shape of maps and chess pieces, accompanied by elegant white swans.

Although the exhibition attracted huge crowds — making it difficult to take photos — the unusual floral compositions and creative design, despite the black walls and ceiling, made the visit truly memorable. Perhaps the only unpleasant part was the parking fee, which reached 72 NIS.

The second, smaller room was in a palace style, so the flowers were arranged in decks of cards, chess pieces and fountains, and were accompanied by figures of white swans.

This event showed how flowers can not only decorate, but also immerse one in entire worlds created from natural materials, making the exhibition worth visiting, despite some inconveniences.
